Work for Working Families

I will fight to lower the cost of living by cutting unnecessary taxes, reducing regulatory burdens, and making it easier to build and grow.

Specifically, I will:

  • Transportation: Fight to suspend California’s gas tax, stop the costly mileage tax, and keep our local refineries open so families are not crushed by higher prices at the pump.

  • Housing: Make it easier to build affordable single-family home communities for teachers, first responders, and young families, while fast-tracking housing construction by cutting burdensome reviews and stopping lawsuit abuse that delays projects and drives up costs.

  • Groceries: Improve water storage, decrease transportation fees, and eliminate the requirement that forces shoppers to pay for every bag at checkout.

  • Utilities: Bring down the cost of electricity and basic utilities by expanding reliable energy production, modernizing infrastructure, and stopping costly state policies that keep driving rates higher.

I will fight for our small businesses and main street entrepeneurs by:

  • Cutting the regulations that drive up costs and drive businesses out of state

  • Opposing tax increases that fall on small businesses and independent workers

  • Making it easier — not harder — to start, operate, and grow a business in our district

  • Protecting the rights of workers to choose the career path that works for their families

I will root out waste, fraud, and abuse in Sacramento:

  • Blow the whistle on every incident of waste, fraud, or abuse.

  • Demand transparency in how state funds are spent in our communities

  • Oppose unfunded mandates that pass costs to local governments and taxpayers

  • Fight against the bureaucratic bloat that delays real solutions for real families
